Food Diary Friday!

Today I’m sharing what I ate yesterday, and including my general activity too!

9 a.m.

Workout:  Day 21 of the makefatcrychallenge(.com): 15 minutes of “Back Attack”

Breakfast:  Eggs and diced ham cooked in ghee (clarified butter with dairy solids removed), half an avocado, and a paleo lemon blueberry muffin.

10-2:30: Errands and appointments.  I grabbed a coffee drink made with almond milk…oh and a double shot of espresso.  Somehow missed that (more focused on the sugar content, natch) and then wondered why I felt so anxious and jittery during my hair appointment.  That said, it tasted great!  I have found the little individual drinks at Target and Whole Foods.

2:30:  Came home starving and wolfed down 3 tuna cakes.  These are great salad toppers or a portable quick bite full of protein and omega 3s.

Spicy Tuna Cakes

 

3:00 – 5:30 p.m.: Cooked, then realized I needed to head out to meet a friend!  Quickly ate a snack size portion of spaghetti (no picture)

 

7:00 p.m.: Attended my first SkyFit class and it was everything I hoped it would be.  Super fun cardio and toning on trampolines.  Had a blast.  Did not throw up spaghetti.  Wins all around.

 

8:30 p.m.:  Dinner!  I had made tomatillo chicken and served it with rice and black beans.

For dessert, Chris shared a few of his dark chocolate covered banana chips with me!
